About Mrs. Winner

My name is Mrs.Winner. I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. I spent most of my childhood in LAUSD schools. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Family Studies from the University of Arizona. I then went on to receive my Masters in Education and earned my teaching credential from National University.

 

As a college student, I did not know what I wanted to do with my life. I knew I wanted to assist children in some way, but didn't know how. I just fell into the career of teaching and never looked back. I started teaching in 1997 when I began my career here at Vanalden. I plan on staying here for a long time!

 

I am married to my college sweetheart. We have two amazing children. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy traveling with my family, cheering on my UofA Wildcats, listening to Broadway music and relaxing at restorative yoga.
